Think for Yourself is all about people and people in community. Seeking help; Helping each other; Coming together in the hope of a better future with friends around them, supporting them. No condemnation, no judgement, just acceptance of them where they are.

 

We stand in the Gap as a listening ear, signpost and advocate to support people on their journey to better physical and mental health.

The Meeting Place

In the Main Hall you might find bingo, a game of Uno and lively chatter. But if noise is too much, then relax in our Lounge Area.

Perhaps do some arts and crafts

 

If Pool, Table Tennis, Darts or Xbox are your thing then go upstairs to our indoor Sports Room.

What ever you choose you will also find refreshments, a friendly welcome and support from people who have been where you are and want to help.

Mental Health

“Think for Yourself” aims to help with awareness and reduce the stigma attached to mental health and addiction issues by providing indoor [and outdoor] activity sessions with a listening ear and a supportive community.

Addiction Recovery

We provide support to get into, and stay, in recovery

using One-to-One help delivered by people who have personal lived experience. We work with all the agencies in Darlington to help you in your Recovery Programme.
